Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 13, 2026. This policy describes practices for the Supinami website operated by the operator of Supinami.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of Supinami("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Supinami website and related services (the "Service"), including optional email alerts for anime air times. By using the Service, you agree to this policy and, where required, to the practices described in your cookie consent choices.

2. Who we are

Supinami is operated by the operator of Supinami. For privacy-related requests (including access or deletion where applicable), contact us using the channels described in Contact or email hello@supinami.com.

3. Scope

This policy covers:

  • Pages and features served from our domain (including browsing, search, and lists).
  • Optional email alerts you request for titles on your watchlist (double opt-in where implemented).
  • Technologies described below (cookies or similar identifiers, analytics when enabled, browser storage, server logs).

4. Information we collect

4.1 Server and hosting logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log technical data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, user agent, request path, timestamps, and status codes when you access the Service. We use these logs for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability. Hosting is provided by Vercel; see their privacy notice for details on how they process such data.

4.2 Cookies and consent (CookieYes). We load CookieYes as a consent management platform so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies where required. CookieYes sets cookies or reads consent state needed to operate the banner and honor your choices. See CookieYes's privacy policy at cookieyes.com.

4.3 Analytics (Google Analytics 4).When analytics is enabled, we load Google Analytics 4 through our site integration. GA4 may use cookies or similar storage in your browser subject to your consent choices. We send page-view style events for route changes (single-page navigation) and custom events related to product usage — for example search queries, anime detail views (which may include anime titles and identifiers), list additions or removals (which may include list sizes), outbound link clicks (which may include link domains), and flows for optional notifications. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can use Google's opt-out tools and browser controls as described by Google.

4.4 Local browser storage. We store preferences and watchlist-related data in your browser's localStorage (for example titles you save to My List, episode watch state you mark locally, and opaque tokens or cached status tied to notification signup). This data stays on your device unless you synchronize it by calling our APIs when you enable email alerts.

4.5 Email alert subscription. If you choose to receive emails, we collect and store on our servers:

  • Your email address.
  • A secret bearer token tied to your subscription.
  • Numeric identifiers for anime titles you asked to monitor (aligned with third-party catalogue IDs such as Annict work IDs).
  • Subscription status (for example pending confirmation vs active), timestamps, pending email change metadata when applicable, and deduplication keys so we do not spam duplicate reminders for the same airing slot.
  • A one-way hash of your normalized email address used only for indexing records (not reversible to your email by visitors).

Delivery uses Resend as an email provider; messages include unsubscribe links required for compliance and usability. See Resend privacy policy.

4.6 Schedule and catalogue data. To display schedules we query public or authorized APIs (including Annict, AniList, and Syoboi). We do not receive your personal profile from those services solely because you browse Supinami; we fetch programme and metadata needed to render the schedule.

4.7 Embedded media and fonts.Trailers may load through YouTube embeds; YouTube's provider may collect data under its own policies when you interact with the player. We load Inter via Google Fonts (next/font); Google may receive technical data in connection with font delivery.

4.8 Affiliate links and monetization. We may include affiliate links to third-party merchants or services (for example Amazon Associates, AmiAmi, or VPN providers). If you click an affiliate link, you will be redirected to that third party, and the merchant or network may place cookies or similar technologies on your device under its own privacy policy to attribute referral commissions.

5. How we use information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Show schedules, search results, and personalized lists stored on your device.
  • Send optional reminder emails near air times (approximately within a thirty-minute window before a tracked airing in our cron configuration), confirmation messages, and operational notices tied to subscription changes you initiate.
  • Understand aggregate or event-level product usage through analytics when enabled.
  • Protect against abuse, fraud, and technical failures.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

6. Legal bases (EEA, UK, Japan, and similar jurisdictions)

Where GDPR, APPI, or similar laws apply, we rely on appropriate bases such as: performance of a contract (providing the Service you request); consent (cookies and analytics where consent is required, and optional marketing or notification emails where applicable); legitimate interests (security, anti-abuse, product improvement balanced against your rights); and legal obligation where we must retain or disclose information.

7. Sharing and subprocessors

We share information with service providers who process data on our behalf, including:

  • Vercel — hosting, serverless execution, platform logs — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Vercel KV / Upstash — storage for notification subscription records — see provider documentation for current data processing details.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery — resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Google — Analytics (when enabled) and Fonts — Google Privacy Policy
  • CookieYes — consent banner — CookieYes privacy policy
  • YouTube — embedded video playback — Google

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users or the public.

8. Retention

Server logs follow our hosting provider's retention practices unless we configure a shorter window. Analytics data retention depends on your GA4 property settings in Google's console — verify those settings against this policy.

Email subscription records are stored until you unsubscribe or disable alerts, we delete them for inactivity where we implement cleanup, or we discontinue the feature. Dedupe keys for reminders may persist for a limited period to prevent duplicate sends.

Local browser storage persists until you clear site data or remove items in the interface.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service (HTTPS, access-controlled infrastructure secrets, hashed email indexes). No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other regions where our providers operate. If we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required and offered by our vendors.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Port data where technically feasible.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or, for users in Japan, the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC).

To exercise rights, contact us via Contact or hello@supinami.com. For marketing or notification email, use unsubscribe links in messages or disable alerts from the Service where available.

12. U.S. state privacy notices

Depending on your state of residence (for example California), you may have additional rights regarding collection, disclosure, and sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics or advertising integrations could constitute "sharing" under state law depending on configuration — ensure your GA4 and advertising settings match this disclosure. You may designate an authorized agent where applicable law permits.

13. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

14. Third-party links and embeds

The Service may link to streaming providers, broadcasters, official sites, and databases. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Trailer embeds may load code from third-party domains.

15. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals for the notification feature beyond routine scheduling logic (for example, selecting subscribers who opted in to a title).

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Where changes are material and we have your email, we may notify you by email when appropriate.

17. Contact
